Frequently Asked Questions

Ordering

How do I order your materials?

Visit our online shop and click into a material type listing.

In the listing, you will be able to select the material sheet size that you would like, the colour, and any other options available options (such as if you would like paper masking applied).

Once you’ve made your selections, click add to cart and follow the prompts to checkout when you’re ready.

On receipt of payment, we’ll process your requests the following Monday. We’ll then get in touch via email with tracking information, or to let you know that your order is ready to collect (depending on the options that you choose at the checkout).

What size materials do you sell?

We sell flat material sheets in three different sizes: 150mm x 300mm, 300mm x 300mm, 450mm x 300mm and 600mm x 300mm.

What is the masking tape and double sided tape?

We use and recommend the masking tape if you plan to laser cut or engrave any materials to protect the surfaces from smoke and burn marks, though materials that come with a brown paper tape are fine to use as is. The double sided tape is great to put on the back of materials as it allows you to easily adhere the material to a wall or backing piece. An example of this is laser cutting text to make signage.

I only need a small piece!?

150mm x 300mm is the smallest size sheet that we sell. If you need a smaller piece (such as a ‘scrap’ or ‘off-cut’), consider picking up one pack (or multiple packs) of sample swatches.

You don't have the material that I want...?

We’re always looking to expand our range if it aligns with our small business goals. Found a material that you think we should get? Get in touch to let us know and we’ll see if we can make it happen.

Can I have a sample?

Yes – We sell sample swatches here.

Help

Can I call you?

We are an online based service and do not have a contact number for our services. You can email anytime, and we will get back to you ASAP with all of the help that we can provide. It is easiest for us to respond to your questions via email, because we can have a written account of what you’re trying to do, and can provide pictures and links to helpful information on our website.

Can I visit you?

Yes, but only to pick up orders (when you have been notified that they are ready) and to browse our samples. Any orders must be processed online (including material swatches, which are typically made to order). We are an online based service and do not have a shop front.

Help! I need to change or modify my order!?

Get in touch ASAP and we’ll see what we can do. Once your order has been placed and paid for, we typically begin processing it and cannot make changes. You must ensure that your order is correct before completing payment.

What if I'm not happy with the material?

Get in touch ASAP with a photo to show us why you’re not happy and we’ll see what we can do.

We’re very open about the difficulties of correctly presenting colours online, as well as clearly explaining the flaws relevant to any materials in each listing. We can not provide a refund, return or exchange if you are not satisfied with the material that you have chosen, or if you have not read the information provided about the respective material.

Please allow for slight colour variation from your monitor to materials in real life – all screens display colours differently. See Terms and Conditions for more information.

Are your materials food safe?

Acrylic is generally considered to be food safe but manufacturers would each have to get all their products certified in every country to officially claim it and for whatever reason they just don’t seem to do it.
